We automatically detect and flag potential duplicate expenses to avoid mistakes and reduce expense fraud. Duplicate detection is enabled by default and available to all expense users.
How it works
When you add an expense that looks similar to any other expense, we will automatically flag it as a possible duplicate.
The employee can review and resolve duplicate expenses manually. If the duplicate expense is submitted, the approver will see that same possible duplicate warning.
How to resolve duplicates
Click 'Resolve' in the violation section
You will see all the similar expenses across reports in the table
Review the expenses
If it's a duplicate, you can delete the expense by clicking 'Delete'
If it's not a duplicate, you can click 'Not a duplicate'
